Terry has been a regular at the "21 Club" since the 1960's and she has "her table" and "her waiter" always available for her weekly visits to the famed restaurant.

Terry Mayer is a Bellologists and president of the New York Chapter of the American Bell Association International; a group of collectors who fancy bells, and the fancier the better.The collectors talked about bells as a part of American history, from church towers in Colonial days to locomotives that joined the East and the West. Now, the president of the New York chapter, bells are finding their way into museums and shops that specialize in collectibles.Ms. Mayer's own bells, which she designs as jewelry in the shape of fruits, animals and seashells, are finding their way into stores like Tiffany & Company. (Ms. Mayer also invents words - ''bellologists,'' for example.) A regular feature of the bell association's twice-yearly meetings is ''bell and tell,'' or ''show and bell.
